KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (June 29) - United Way's Nonprofit
Management Center of East Tennessee (NMC) will host
a course for nonprofit staff and volunteers on Leadership
Opportunities When Working with People on Thursday,
July 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at United Way
of Greater Knoxville, 1301 Hannah Avenue.
Presented by Jaymi Damron, with Pilot Travel Centers,
LLC, this interactive session will focus on skills of
effective leadership, recognizing emotions, controlling
anger, listening and delegating. Damron, has over 18
years experience in training and development, operations
and human resources.
The course will cost $30 for each individual and $20
for each additional participant from the same organization.
