The Monday Foundation is just one example of how a donor can make a lasting impact through United Way.

In 1977, Eugene and Florence Monday presented United Way with the ground lease and deed to the Broadway Center and Holiday Inn properties.

Each year, proceeds from the properties are reviewed by the Monday Foundation trustees who distribute grants to local nonprofits that carry out the Mondays’ vision of helping the very vulnerable meet their basic needs, helping youth, and promoting new organizations.
