Gifts in Kind
Annually United Way accepts brokers and often leverages non-financial resources that are made available through individuals, companies and other organizations.
Gifts include a variety of items such as children's books, tickets to events and slightly damaged items which are still very useful, but must be removed from retail sales.
Often employee groups and organizations are looking for projects which are valuable services that agencies would have to purchase if they were not donated.
Conservatively these goods and services are valued at $50,000 annually.
