Community Impact

United Way of Greater Knoxville brings together resources to improve the lives of people in our community by helping them achieve their potential for self sufficiency.

Facilitating collaborations around key issues, providing financial and non-financial assistance to new and existing agency programs, and leveraging community support for these efforts are just a few of the strategies employed by United Way in order to build a better community.

In addition to addressing community problems at their source, volunteers and donors recognize that funding a balanced portfolio of health and human services is an important part of what makes Knoxville such a great place to live.

Every day, United Way and its community partners are aiding those in emergency situations, preventing individual or family crisis, and making sure the basic needs of the children and families in Knoxville are met.

Ultimately, United Way isn't just about the number of individuals served or even how many programs are funded, but how lives are changed and improved.
